Speaking at Tulsa TechFest

I’ll be presenting two sessions at Tulsa TechFest on November 12.

OLAP in Silverlight, Without Cubes

Want OLAP-style data browsing, in Silverlight, without cubes?? You can have it all with ComponentOne OLAP for Silverlight. Using ordinary data tables from any source, the drag and drop controls are used to easily build interactive matrices and charts. A completely custom UI can be built which allows for easy end-user selection of datasets while enforcing user security. For more information on this beta tool, check out http://www.componentone.com/SuperProducts/OLAPSilverlight/.

Connecting Windows Phone 7 and Azure with WCF

In this session, we'll build a WCF service hosted on Azure, then create a Windows Phone 7 application which can consume the service. We'll use both SQL Azure and Table Storage as data repositories, develop a WCF service, and finally a Windows Phone 7 application which consumes the cloud data.
If the demo gods are with us, we'll deploy into a production environment, but everything can be built and tested locally.
