Linear gauge scale direction

  •  virtualcarisma said 11 months, 1 week ago:

I have noticed that in the linear gauge when Orientation set to Vertical the scale direction is "wrong". In the C1 component the scale direction turns out to be "From-top-to-bottom":

    0
    10
    30
    40

    100

Normal, and more useful (!?), would be to have the direction "From-bottom-to-top":

    100

    40
    30
    20
    10
    0

Of course the current behaviour can be useful but I have read the documentation and can’t find any way to change the direction. The output of the thermometer reference in the documentation becomes very strange with this behaviour. I don’t know what mercury that’s used as it seems to expand as the tempature drops ;-)

Comments on this one are welcomed. Is it possible to change the direction? If not, will it be implemented in future versions?

    Hello,

The Windows Phone LinearGauge is similar to Silverlight LinearGauge. A similar query is answered for SL Gauges :

    Thanks,

    Hi Richa

    Thanks for reply. Worked perfectly!

Please add this solution to the section in your documentation where you talk about thermometers, as I guess it is very useful.

    Hello Niklas,

Thanks for the feedback. I will surely let the documentation team know about this.

    Thanks,
    Richa
