I use the PDF viewer in an app, and for the most part, it opens PDF’s and displayes them.
However, attached is one that opens incorrectly. The client that uses this generates a lot of these, and it would be great if it would open correctly. I think the issue may be with fonts, as some of the text shows correctly, and the rest looks like it would show correctly if the font were there.
I know that a PDF control is not going to support every type of PDF formatting, but it would be awesome if this one worked. It’s a pretty simple document, just a bit of formatted text.

Hello Greg,
I checked the pdf file you’ve attached and it opens up perfectly in C1PdfViewer. I tried it on our pdfviewer demo : http://demo.componentone.com/silverlight/controlexplorer/#PdfViewer/See%20it%20in%20action
Could you try the same and let me know if it opens incorrectly? You can take a screenshot and send it across.
Thanks

Hi Abdias,
Yes, your correct, it opens up perfectly in that ControlExplorer.
However, when I try this from my own code, it does not. See screenshot of the ControlExplorer launched from my Dev machine.
I think the reason may be the version of the PDFViewer. My version is: C1.Silverlight.PDF.5 : 5.0.20121.237
Can you confirm this is the version I should be using? As far as I can tell, it is the latest version.

Well, the screenshot would not attach. I tried several different types, png, gif, jpeg, but the forum software would not upload it.
So I put it on the web: http://moresales4.me/pdftest.bmp
Hopefully you can see it ok.

Hi Greg,
You could use the latest build 5.0.20121.243 which can be download from here :
Please let me know if you’re still facing any issue.
