Is there a way to search on multiple words using an 'or’ function. For example, if I entered ’4100 fuser’ into the search box, could it return all rows with either 4100 or fuser as results? Is there a character that can be used as a delimeter? Or would I have to create my own search box and then execute my own code. If I have to write the code, do you have any sample code?
Thanks,
Joe…
Hello Joe,
The FlexGrid extension uses the standard Lightswitch search box, and it doesn’t look like that particular search box is capable of this. I will continue to research this, but so far I haven’t found anything that would suggest that this is possible.

Justin
Thank you Justin,
I appreciate your efforts. We can put our own search text box, parse out the words and write the code if that feature is not built in.

Hi Joe,
After some exhausting research, I do not see any way in which to do this with the default search box in Lightswitch. I apologize, but this is a limitation of the search box. We will be looking into this functionality in future builds.
Regards,
Justin
